Base Oil
We source our extra virgin olive from the Mediterranean, primarily Italy. We favour Moraiolo and Leccino olives from Italy and Manaki olives from Greece. Olive selection is important as oxidation is the key enemy of a quality product. Our goal is to not only select a blend of oil that pairs well with the aroma of the White Truffle, but to also manage oxidative degradation.
Overview
White Truffle Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil uses the best Tuber Magnatum Pico flavouring available. Hand-crafted in small batches, this White Truffle Oil is more pungent than the Black Truffle Oil and has scents of roasted garlic and egg whites. With the combination of extra virgin olive oil, there are slight floral and grassy aromas. White Truffles pair well with almost any cuisine. From cheeses to pastas, popcorn to french fries and eggs, White Truffles add an astounding level of earthy depth to any dish.
